    Very good
    7.0

The free parking permit provided made it hassle-free to park right outside the property. The rooms feature excellent wet rooms for a refreshing shower experience, and Sharon's homemade cakes on arrival add a lovely personal touch to the stay.

The bed in the King Room felt too soft, resulting in a lumpy sensation that might bother anyone with back issues. it ended up being a struggle for comfortable sleep. The full-length bathroom window, lacking a blind, compromises privacy, especially with its proximity to the shower and toilet, which could be unsettling for some. A small in-room fridge would enhance comfort, especially during warm weather, allowing easy access to chilled drinks.

    charming decor

easy strolls to beach and parks from this lovely b&b

During our stay, we appreciated the delightful breakfast made with fresh local produce and admired the charming decor of the Victorian house, which was beautifully refurbished while retaining its original charm. As avid city walkers, we found it just a 10-minute stroll to Whitby Beach and a few steps to the picturesque Pannett Park, perfect for leisurely walks.

    spacious room
    luxury bedding
    delicious breakfast

The room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a large bay window that let in plenty of sunlight throughout the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail with the luxury bedding and en suite bathroom that featured high-quality toiletries. Breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent selection that catered to all dietary requirements, including fresh fruit and homemade bread that was simply divine.

We encountered no issues during our stay.

We just had a wonderful 2-night stay! The homemade cakes and warm welcome on arrival were such a nice touch, not to mention the incredible breakfast that was beautifully presented each morning. Our King Room was spotless and had everything we needed, especially the delightful homemade biscuits left for us daily. I would definitely come back!
